FYI in response to all the reviews about broken zipper pulls.....I talked to a JJ Cole customer service rep before I bought the bag about this issue after reading reviews. They said they did have a batch of bad zipper pulls and it has been amended. Additionally, there is a 2 YEAR warranty on these things! He said they would be happy to replace if I still had a problem. Skip Hop Pronto Diaper Changer Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I like the design and convenience of this diaper changing pad, but after 1 month, the seam on the front pocket began unraveling leaving a hole in the front pocket. I contacted Skip Hop for a replacement. Customer service did not reply for 1 month. They arranged for me to return the product before I could receive a replacement. It is now 3 months later and I still have not received a replacement after contacting them numerous times.
I also have a Skip Hop diaper bag which I've recently noticed has a defective buckle. It comes unlatched while I'm carrying it and the bag falls to the ground. Since their customer service is so poor, I've just switched to using another bag rather than to deal w/ another return.

(More customer reviews)I just received this bag for Mother's Day and it has been a nice bag to use. I store the diapers, wipes, and changing pad (included) in the smaller zipped bag shown in the picture. This makes a change on the go a snap. There is plenty of room for a few small toys, a change of clothes, an extra onesie, and baby food/bottles without the bag being a monster to carry. It fits nicely in the bottom of my stroller. One small complaint is that even though it has 2 zippered compartments on the outside, (good for mommy's things) there are no seperate compartments inside the bag. Overall a great diaper bag for the price.

(More customer reviews)It is a beautiful bag and I love the canvas material it is made of. It seems light and sturdy. The bag weights about 2.8 LB including all straps and changing pad. The backpack straps are built-in and when you want to stow the straps away, you just unclip the bottom clips, place the backpack straps in the zippered compartment in the back, and zip up. You can also store the messenger strap in this pocket. Nice and neat. The side pockets can accommodate 17oz water bottles, although if you put one bottle each side, it may take away a little space away from the main compartment. I love the additional outside front pocket -- a good mommy pocket if you don't mind your smart phone near the magnets. I love the 2 stationary insulated bottle pockets inside, again large enough even for adult water bottles. Under the messenger flap is a deep zippered pocket.
But a few things bother me. I hope timi and leslie can improve on.
1)The inside lining is dark chocolate. Very very hard to see, especially it is a deep bag. It seems I have to "scoop" the bottom of the main compartment to make sure things did not get forgotten. The lining in the main compartment is not sewn down. You can flip it out and get rid of crumbs, etc.. which is good, but on the flip side, it often creates crevices and hard to see the bottom of the bag.
2)In the backpack mode, the hard board at the bottom of the bag pokes at my back. The company should get rid of the cardboard and instead, reinforce the bottom with leather to give it structure.
3)back of the bag is not padded for comfort.
These are deal-breakers for me. They may not bother you.
Another minor complaint i have is it takes two efforts with one hand or takes 2 hands to close both flaps, because each flap has 2 small magnets at the corners. Not a big deal... but for a mom on the go, it could be annoying.
Also, pay attention to the picture of the internal main compartment. That is how big it is... not very big but it's deep. It is because of the 2 inside insulated bottle holders taking up space.

The colors of the Felicity pattern are beautiful and the material the bag is made out of seems very durable. It also comes with the matching changing pad, detachable long arm strap, and non-slip stroller handles that are going to come in very handy.
I couldn't be more pleased with this diaper bag. It looks like a stylish purse but has more functionality than other bags I've seen which are more expensive than this one, by the way. I've received tons of compliments on this bag and everyone wants to know where they can get one!! Can't go wrong with this bag!

(More customer reviews)I got this bag as a gift when I was pregnant. I was excited about having a stylish diaper bag that could double as my purse. When I got it I noticed it was HUGE. Wow, this is a really big bag so if you have a small frame keep that in mind.
The bag is awesome, the amount of room it has and the organization in it is wonderful. It fits everything so well! And you can't tell by the picture but the way the zipper part is done you can load the bag up to the rim and not have an issue zipping it. I can't describe it but the top part gets raised up when it's full and the zipper never gets in the way. Genius design.
It comes with a small purse which I love. I carry my wallet and car keys etc in that and if I drop baby off at grandma's I leave the main bag and just take the little purse with my stuff in it. Again, genius design.
I love it a lot BUT THERES A HUGE BUT ... the bag is not nearly as sturdy as it needs to be for this purpose. Right when I got it one handle started falling apart. Now after 3 months use the inside buckle has ripped and the thermal bottle holder has fallen apart and ripped. I'm so sad about this. I wish it was made a bit sturdier. They thought of everything for the bag why didn't they think that lugging this big bag around requires something that can handle a little more wear-and-tear? I use it very gently but sad to say it's probably not going to last as long as I thought.
Would give it 3.5 stars.

The pokets are deep so it is possilbe for small things to fall deep down. I love the side pokets on the outside to fit a sippy cup, bottle or a water bottle for myself. The hook inside the purse, allows you to hook in your keys. The only thing I wish it had is a shallow pocket for a cell phone. My cell phone gets lost inside the purse. So for easy access I have been using one of the outside pockets for it.
Great fashionable purse/diaper bag without having to spend over the top designer price. A must for a fashionista mama, without breaking the budget.

The only thing i don't like about the bag is that when you set it down it leans to one side (the side with the 3 pockets)! I wish it would just stay upright! Other than that i love this bag, i love the space, the color, the organization, the diaper changing pad and it looks stylish!

(More customer reviews)I bought this diaper bag because I wanted something a bit smaller than the large diaper bag I had been using until my daughter's first birthday. I chose this particular bag because of the numerous pockets that it comes with. I love the color and it seems to be made really well. The only issue I have with it is that you can't actually put something in every pocket. If you put something in the outer bottle pocket, then the diaper disposal bag holder I have won't fit on the inside pocket on that same side. Basically, one pocket impedes the other as there just isn't enough space to go around. The changing pad just fits into the outside pocket so that once you fill up the inside, you have to squeeeeeze the changing pad into the outside pocket. It doesn't really hold much on the inside either. Since I was trying to downsize, this is probably okay for me now since it prevents me from stuffing too much inside! However, I don't think this bag would be large enough for a mom with a new baby trying to tote multiple items for feeding, changing, and a blanket, etc. If I were going to buy a Skip Hop for a newer mom, I would suggest the messenger bag. It seems to hold a bit more. For the Skip Hop, I would recommend the deluxe bag though with the padded strap.

(More customer reviews)I am the mother of 2 children and have many diaper bags. I have a large one for travel, small ones to go shopping with, etc. If you are a parent I am sure you can relate. I bought this for a friend that is having a baby soon. She did not register for one, and thought this looked like a pretty good bag to get her. I hated the fact that it did not have any reviews for it so far, but bought it anyway. I love reading reviews, but have never written one myself. This will be the first.
This bag has definitely exceeded my expectations. It is a medium size bag. I love that it is more tall than wide. It won't get hung up when you go down a narrow isle. It has two pouch pockets on the front that you can see in the picture, behind that is a zipper pocket that holds 4 bottles (the bottle holders are made of one strip of elastic, so if you don't use bottles you can use if for something else). Behind the zipper pocket is another large pocket with a velcro close. Behind that is the main compartment. That has 2 narrow deep pockets in it and then a zipper pocket opposite of them. I think that is pretty standard in most diaper bags. Then finally, in the back is another deep pocket just like the velcro one before the main compartment. it also has a velcro close.
The main thing I love about this bag is that the main compartment opens real wide. I hate having a jammed packed diaper bag. When you want to get something out, everything on top falls out with it. This one opens real wide to prevent that problem.
Anyway, I definitely love this diaper bag. I just got 2 new ones for Christmas, so I do not feel right buying another one just yet, but if and when I have another child, I will definitely buy this one if it is available.

Diaper Dude Diaper Bag Review

(More customer reviews)I liked the idea of having a messenger-style diaper bag as opposed to the more prevalent tote-styles. The Diaper Dude bag is ok, but there are a few items that would make it better for my needs.
My biggest wish is that the main compartment were larger. It's fairly small and when we put in all the things we'd like to carry, the bag gets stuffed and becomes somewhat misshapen to the point where it lays awkward on my hip and back. I tend to carry portable wipes, 4-5 diapers, 1-2 change of clothes, a hat, a blanket, a sippy cup, a snack trap, a couple of toys, my cell phone and keys. Because I can't find a place for everything, the main inside compartment is a mishmash of unorganized items.
The cell phone holder does a fine job holding my LG flip phone. A bigger phone however wouldn't fit, but $15 for a Timbuk2 cell phone case would solve that. Also, the elasticized bottle pocket is pretty snug so getting a bottle in and out is kinda tough. On the other hand, the bottle doesn't fall out accidentally.
Additionally, the dirty diaper pocket in the large compartment should probably have a zipper to keep the smell out of the other items in the bag and avoid cross contamination. The hooks for keys and pacifiers would probably only hold keys. The pacifiers being sold these days aren't on a ring and are much too big to be hooked onto the bag. The included changing pad is padded nicely though.
Overall, it's a decent bag, especially at Amazon.com prices. Someone in our play group has complimented me twice on the bag so I may just give it away to them or keep it as a backup bag. I recently ordered a DadGear messenger diaper bag for nearly the same price and am hoping that it holds all my items better.

I compared to other bags, some that were over a hundred dollars more than this one, and this was very light weight. I didn't want to lug around 20+ pounds of baby gear on one shoulder then a baby in the other arm. I love the gripped straps on the side that attach to a stroller! What a great idea! Also love the expandable feature, although I'm sure I'll never wear it closed up. First of all, I have a tendency to over pack for outings and second, I love the orange accent in the middle! My favorite part about this bag is that it is very classy looking. I wasn't about to lug around a "character" themed diaper bag on my shoulder. This bag is definitely brown, cream and bright orange with shiny gold accents on it. It is a little hard to tell from the picture. Also, the inside has 4 of the same size pockets, 2 on each side and the back side of the bag has a zipper that holds the included changing pad. It's a great bag, don't hesitate to order it!

(More customer reviews)It's pretty, it's basic, it's handy but only for light, limited use. I like the long strap so I can put it over my shoulder when I'm carrying lots of things. I would have thought it to be more durable since you should be able to put the following things in a diaper bag: change of clothes, diapers/cream/wipes, one board book, a few small/light toys, a light receiving blanket. Adding my digital camera, a bottle of water, and a light jacket for the baby must have overloaded it, which is why I can't strongly endorse this product. A shame, because I really liked it until the strap gave way. I don't even use it every day.
