(More customer reviews)My husband and I put this bag on our registry on a whim figuring nobody in their right mind would pay $80 for a diaper bag. We were thrilled when we received it at our shower. Our baby was born in mid December and we loved this bag. It went everywhere with us. It holds a dozen neborn diapers in the inside pockets, bottles, formula containers, toys, clothes and even a snall blanket depending on what else you've packed. the easy access wipes are great and I love that the changing pad stores in the back zipper pocket rather than taking up space in the main compartment.
The diappointing part was that it didn't hold up. The bag itself has held up pretty well even when filled to capacity (and then some). The strap however, has not. The webbing used to make the tabs that hold the rings where the shoulder strap hooks on (attaches) to the bag itself is poor quality and began to unravel and fray by late August. It was very frustrating. The only reason we had even considered this bag was that it was big and sturdy and would last at least a couple years. Instead, I had to purchase a new (inexpensive) bag from a local store in about eight months.
Assuming that we just got one of a bad lot and the rest are fine, I would highly recommend the bag. If, on the other hand, this poor quality webbing is the norm, I suggest you look elsewhere.

(More customer reviews)I had been eyeing the Bumble Bags for a while and when I saw the Jennifer Weekender, I thought it would be a great bag to use for myself and/or for my baby. So I ordered it and I was disappointed, to say the least. The outside fabric and the inside lining do not line up, causing the seam to pucker, and where the magnets come together is not properly lined up, and the pockets sit crooked. The inside of the bag ( I chose the blue and brown print) was a very dark brown and it was very hard to see inside the bag and my things would easily get lost. It comes with a small pouch inside and a changing pad, which is nice, but the changing pad is not padded at all. I would never place my baby on it. Overall, the quality was not what I anticipated and I felt that it is not worth the money. I had really thought I would love the bag, but it left a lot to be desired. Thank goodness for Amazon and their hassle free returns!!!

(More customer reviews)I just received this bag and I absolutely LOVE it!!! The print is gorgeous and I love switching the straps out depending on how I want to carry it. I also love being able to slip my cell, sunglasses and keys in the side magnetic closing pockets (very convenient when your holding and infant and you need to just put them away quickly). It holds everything I need for me and my son and it's not too bulky looking. It doesn't even look like a diaper bag! I have been looking for a cute everyday bag that I could use as my purse/diaper bag because I hated having to carry them separately and this is it! I can't rave enough about it! I sew as a hobby and the construction along with the fabric is very strong and well built. Regarding the other reviewers remarks, yes, it has yellow tones in it - hence the name, "Buttercup!" (Duuuhhh!) Amazon's photo is pretty true to the real life coloring too. (If you want to see pictures of the inside, Zappos has additional pictures). All in all, I am so pleased with this bag.

I place a bag into the seat pocket on airplanes, so that we have a trash bag nearby for the entire flight. I also attach it to the zipper of my bag for easy transport and access. The 3 stars for durability are due to it being a disposable item. This item is not educational or fun - (Amazon requires a star rating in these categories for this item).

(More customer reviews)We have been using gDiapers for our 7.5 month old little girl since she was under a month old. Yes, there was a learning curve but once we became adapt at using the gDipes, it's been smooth sailing with minimal leaks even when she has blowouts, and no clogged toilets.
We have more than the recommended number of gPants, per the gDiapers website and as such, always have a stack readily stuffed by her changing table. We like having the convenience of a disposable with the flushable. If we are unable to flush it, we can toss it and know that it will degrade unlike regular plastic disposable/chlorine-free diapers - we also compost her wet flushables. We do flush the poopy flushables and know of parents with septics tanks that also flush these.
The cotton pants are just so adorable and you can get more colors and now, new designs directly from gDiapers.com.
I will advise any parent that wants to give this a shot, to join the gDiaper yahoo group. There are tons of parents there and loads of advice and also used gPants for sale - another level of recycling !
The Subscribe and Save via Amazon for the Flushables is the cheapest I have come across - even cheaper than getting them from a store and the convenience of auto shopping is priceless !

The gDiapers diapering system is an innovative, convenient, and "green" alternative to traditional disposable diapers. gDiapers consist of a "little g" pants reusable, washable outer layer, which is fitted with an absorbent, fully decomposable refill. The gDiapers Flushable Refill pack for Medium and Large sizes includes 32 refills. They are for use with medium- or large-sized "little g" pants, which fit children 13 to 28 pounds and 26 to 36 pounds, respectively.
Flushable, Decomposable Diapers The gDiaper refills are completely decomposable. They're made from sustainably farmed wood fluff pulp, sodium polyacrylate (SAP), which provides absorbency, and cellulose rayon. And they can be flushed down the toilet, which has a couple of wonderful benefits. First, it eliminates the need to keep smelly diapers around in a diaper pail. Second, it keeps unnecessary waste out of the landfills. And finally, the entire contents of the diaper gets processed by sewage treatment plants, which return treated, completely sanitized solids to be converted into valuable fertilizer. It's recycling at its best!
If you're unable to flush the liners, they can still be thrown in the trash without guilt, since they will decompose in 50 to 150 days -- a much better turnaround than their plastic counterparts. And, if you're a gardener, you can simply throw the wet liners in your compost bin. (Note: for sanitary reasons, never put poopy diapers in the compost.)

As Easy As Traditional Disposables -- but Healthier To use the gDiaper refills, simply fit the disposable refill into the "little g" pant's washable liner. Once the diaper is soiled, simply remove the refill from the liner and flush it.

The "little g pant" itself sports an adorable style and trim silhouette. With easy-to-use rear Velcro closures, it's just as easy to put on a baby as traditional disposable diapers -- no pins to deal with here. Plus, its breathable qualities help keep baby's skin healthier by minimizing diaper rash.

Tips for Successful gDiaper Use Some plumbing systems may have problems with the flushable liners, including systems with tree-infested pipes; non-standard plumbing systems, including grinders or house traps; and septic tanks, which require close monitoring to make sure the outflow is clear. It is recommended that only poopy diapers be put into septic systems, and wet ones be composted.

But even if your plumbing system won't accept the gDiaper flushables, you can always simply throw them in the trash where they'll quickly decompose, making a much more environmentally friendly alternative to traditional disposable diapers.

I use prefolds and covers, and it will hold at least8 NB prefolds and 3 covers, and I still had some room if I'd needed it. The mesh pocket is pretty well useless. My only complaint is that even when zipped up and folded over, you can still smell the diapers quite well, which only bothers me since it is kept in my diaper bag with back up clothing and the clean dipes.

(More customer reviews)I didn't expect memory foam or padding. I wanted a changing pad that could be folded or rolled up, to a size small enough to fit into my purse. Well, this is small alright. Very short. I don't know why it is so short, when most babies outgrow changing pads this length by the time they are 3 months old. It isn't any longer or thicker than any of the lame changing pads that normally come with diaper bags. It is very flimsy, very cheapy. Two very thin pieces of nylon, that's it. It is so small I cannot even use it as a placemat (not that I would - but it is smaller than many placemats I own). For $12, I would expect at least something that can be used beyond the newborn months. Unfortunately, there are not many better options out there - there is either long and super bulky or super short and flimsy. For the money and size, buy a placemat at a dollar store instead.

The Ju Ju Be changing pads They are the same as Ju Ju Be's BeLight changing pads...same design (super light and easy to fold up) and same size (approx 21? x 12?). (More customer reviews)I purchased this bag when I had my 3rd, after using boy diaper bags I wanted something more feminine. Def had to be a backpack as I had a 4 year old, 2 year old and newborn. I bought the stroller clips to use on our bugaboo and they work fine, just wish it was standard on the bag like some of the other brands of diaper bags. I LOVED having the zip out diaper changing station-absolutely a lifesaver for anywhere diaper changes. Liked the side pockets for water bottles and sippy cups/bottles, but sometimes they would fall out if I bent over (maybe needs a drawstring closure??). I used the bag both ways (backpack and messenger style) and I prefer the backpack. It just seemed to wide to use as a messenger back IMO. Also wish there was a top handle and padded shoulder straps. On the plus side the material is completely wipeable and durable...the embroidery stitching is NOT. mine has snagged :( The color on this particular print is not overly pink but definitely feminine with the soft pink flowers and interior. There is the removeable zip pocket in the inside for mommy stuff and two interior pockets....lacking IMO, the bag needs more. And the bag never has felt like it can carry everything I want to take, I'm usually left deciding on what to pack and leaving some stuff behind because it won't fit. I'm going to try the Mrs. Smith's bag and we'll see if I end up selling my PPB!

However, the 'powder-fresh' scent will knock your socks off! You certainly can't keep these in the diaper table drawer with an allergy-sensitive child in the room. Not even one, it's that overpowering. We've had to keep ours in the kitchen, with the other trash bags. Terrific item, I just wish they'd offer it in fragrance-free. Thanks!

(More customer reviews)This bag is ok if you only have one kid and want to have a diaper or two handy and want to use it as a small purse. I like how it looks, and I like that it has a separate place for diapers vs your credit card/wallet. I am 5'8" and with the shoulder strap extended all the way it is ok, but just ok...it would probably be best for a shorter person. You have to be gentle with the zipper and not overfill it. It is small. I had this as our primary diaper bag when our daughter was first born and it broke the first week because I tried to put too much into it. We switched to an REI diaper bag as our primary bag...it holds SO much more and is made better but is basically like carrying around a small duffel bag. This bag is definitely not worth the retail price, but amazon has a good deal on it right now so I am ordering another one to use as a purse and I will only put the bare minimum diapering essentials in it. The changing pad is pretty nice. The wipes holder is worthless. So basically if you don't want to be caught in the grocery store without an emergency diaper but you don't want to lug around a big bag full of snacks and entertainment, this bag is fine.

(More customer reviews)I have owned 6 diaper bags, JuJu Be, Mia Bossi, OIOI, and Mrs Smith. I have either resold my old bags or given away.
I like the concept however a few things.... 1, ordered the pitch and got the pewter bag (that is o.k. I guess). The bag is pretty large but that is o.k. with me as I have 16 month old twins. 2. I think it could be better with more internal pockets. They are only the following: Inside- 3 cup holder pockets, very small zipper pocket and 1 velcro pocket. Outside - the drawer, and one cloth lined pocket on each side, a large but thin pocket in back (if you use as a backpack then nothing bulky as it hits your back) and a water bottle pocket. I would have added a small zipper pocket in the flap and maybe a key fob to clip your keys - hard to find otherwise. I would have also liked a place to put a picture of our family (inside) as I really like that feature in my other bag. 3. There is not a "mommy pocket" which would have been nice, I hate that my wallet gets tossed in on top (not secured), no place for chapstick, no place for credit cards/change/money, nor tampons/pads. It has to be tossed into main pocket and hope your child(ren) doesn't go in and start tossing everything out.4. Lastly, the "changing pad" is not a pad but a piece of material not unlike synthetic canvas. That is it. Not soft, not cushy, not anything. I promptly replaced it with another that was much more comfortable for my girls.
Overall, this is a good bag, and I am using it, but still looking for a GREAT bag. Maybe I will create one for me! :)

I got the giraffe blue, and it looks great, it is a good size to put everything in, and there are a lot of pockets to put small items in so that you can find them easily. I like that the material will be easy to keep clean, just wipe if off and go.
