Now I think it's adorable after having it awhile and good quality to boot. It has plenty of pockets that are easily accessible, and it's very easy to clean. (and after having it sitting in the floorboard of my husband's work truck... that's saying something.) I love the changing pad that came with it... very soft and easy on baby and easy to wipe clean.

Mommy Hook Stoller Hanger Review

(More customer reviews)I'm a 25 year old dude. I've spent some time searching for a way to get groceries to my tenth floor apartment. I hate making more than one trip, especially if I've purchased frozen items. Smaller carabiners designed for hiking and climbing are cool-looking (and not clearly labeled as a mommy/stroller product), but they can't fit six or seven plastic bags full of groceries. This product does a great job of keeping plastic grocery bag handles from cutting into my hands when I try to get everything upstairs at once. No more making two or three trips just because I bought a gallon of milk, some OJ, and canned food. For those of you who are environmentally conscious, it works with canvas grocery bags, too.
I keep my Mommy Hook in the car for big trips to the grocery store. It clips conveniently to the vertical bars that support the passenger seat headrest. I'll probably buy another one in order to balance the weight across both arms (particularly for trips to wholesale/bulk stores like Costco.)
Heads-up: the spring mechanism does seem a little stiff and possibly weak. I took care of the stiffness with some WD40, but I'm a little wary about the overall durability. The Home Depot jumbo carabiners are cheaper and possibly tougher, but these ship for free with Prime. If it'll bother you, the "Mommy Hook" printing on the foam grip has been wearing off.
The Mommy Hook would earn five stars if it was cheaper and more durable. And more color options might be nice.
**UPDATE 12/4**
Since purchasing the Mommy Hook, I have picked up a couple of Workforce Jumbo Carabiners from Home Depot. As has been mentioned before, they are nearly identical to the Mommy Hook in all but price. The spring mechanism feels smoother on the Workforce ones, but that was probably due more to luck of the draw than superior manufacturing. If you have a Home Depot nearby, and you probably do, grab a jumbo carabiner the next time you're in there. If you intend to buy online, it's more cost-effective to get your Mommy Hook with Amazon prime than it would be to spend $3 on a carabiner and $6 on shipping at the Depot.
The Workforce carabiners are a little bit higher quality, but they don't come in the kid-tested, mother-approved color of Johnny Cash black. Boring old blue and red carabiners don't say "biker mom" quite like the Mommy Hook.

The fabric isn't like some of the other Pickle Bottom bags where you can just wipe it clean. This one is very soft and has a higher chance of getting dirty. The straps are sturdier than the previous bag I owned. I love how it has the backpack straps, and stroller clip feature. Inside has a place to hold my keys, so I never have to go searching again! There is a removeable zip bag which I can store my wallet, and other personal (non-baby) items. There is honestly room for everything!! On top of being very organized, it's a very stylish bag whether I'm with my baby or out by myself.

The flap on the front is uneven and the fabric is not a very nice quality. (More customer reviews)I tried this bag, but returned it. The idea is a great one, but there are some problems with the execution.
From the pictures, it appeared that you could be wearing the bag as a messenger bag, and then to use it as a baby carrier, you would just clip a strap around your waist, secure the baby on top of the bag, and go. However, in order to convert from bag to carrier, you have to take the bag off, adjust the shoulder strap to be a waist strap, secure the bag around your waist, then unzip the new shoulder strap/carrier attachment from a separate compartment, and adjust that -- very time consuming.
I tried to use the carrier for a 15 pound baby, and the weight distribution felt very uncomfortable. In addition, the bag was not very roomy, and the opening is in the front of the bag (because the baby is supposed to sit on top), making it hard to get things in and out with one hand.
I had hoped to use this bag in lieu of a bulky stroller/diaper bag when traveling through airports. However, it wasn't comfortable to walk long distances with and did not have enough capacity for the baby supplies needed for an average flight. It might work better for short trips with minimal gear, although the time spent converting from bag to carrier is still a major downside.

I am not one to splurge on myself but when I saw this bag I really wanted it. I was sick of obvious diaper bags that were either shiny plastic, had animals all over them, or were too bulky.
I am the mother of a 6 year old, 2 year old & 6 month old. I am able to store all the diapers (about 10), wipes (an entire refill pack), powder, change of clothes, a few toys and changing pad that I need for the youngest two There are inside pockets to put other things. I usually hold powder & other necessities in there. There are two side zipper compartments to store bottles & it doesn't appear insulated but it kept the bottles warm for several hours.
There is a detachable zippered pouch that I store my wallet & credit cards in. No more fumbling it's very easy to access.
The strap is adjustable. There are pegs on the bottom that protect the fabric when put on the ground. There are also 2 zippered areas on the front that I use to hold my wallet, keys, cell phone, pacifiers, etc.
I also want to add I don't travel light. My husband often rolls his eyes at the multitude of items I must bring the kids for even the shortest trips & this bag manages to carry what I need.

One of the biggest perks is that it doesnt LOOK like a diaper bag. I can even use this after the baby is older as a trendy mommy tote or carry on piece.
The base is wide and has small supports so it stands alone. The zipper is broad and opens smoothly so that you can open the bag with one hand (very important when managing a squirming baby). The bag is also super spacious when compared to most diaper bags; I can stick my cell phone, wallet, keys and other basics in it along with baby things.
It also seems durable enough (I'll know in due time and update this review in a few months) since the material is thick and the stitching is firm.
So far, I am happy with my purchase.
============TWO MONTH UPDATE============
So far the bag has served me well. I really appreciate the space now. I can truly pack all my things (I have a bulky wallet, keys, make up, cell phone, travel lotion, 20 fl oz water bottle) and the baby's things in here and still have space. I can actually use regular sized products (vs travel size).
I was a bit concerned about cleaning it because of the colour but I have found that it's not a big problem. I doesn't get dirty very easily and spots come off with a wet wipe. I am still very happy with this purchase.

(More customer reviews)I love this bag!!! I was looking for something slightly larger than my current small bag - I think it may actually be smaller, but it's way more efficient! Under the outer flap there is some sort of clear "pocket", which I've found no use for except maybe a few wet nap packs. The flap pocket itself contains a key hook, 4 credit card sleeves, 2 pen holders and will fit a small - medium sized wallet (possibly large, it it's not too fat). There is a cell phone holder on the shoulder strap which fits my LG Ally perfectly. The larger zip pocket contains the standard zip pouch in most purses, 3 (large, medium and small) netted pouches & 1 pocket with an adjustable strap to close it off. The shoulder strap is adjustable. (I'm 5'4 & at the smallest setting it fits perfectly, it appears to adjust about 6 inches longer.) This is a minimalists bag...it is definately not designed for an all day trip or for mothers who carry everything "just in case". It is perfect for grocery store runs, short visits to a friends house and the like. It can hold a plastic wipe holder 3-4 diapers, a couple of bottles, extra outfit, a few basic needs and my wallet very comfortably. More will certainly fit in it, but a lot more would cause it to be overstuffed and bulky as some of the other reviewers complained about. The best thing about the bag is it fits over the shoulder (across chest) you could wear it in the front, but I wear mine on the lower back/hip area & as long as it's not overstuffed - you'll never even know its there. I carry my 6 month old on my hip (same side as bag) & it never gets in the way. My shoulder bag is constantly bulky under my arm & falls off my shoulder if I bend over - I've even had it fall forward & hit my son when I bent over checking on him. This is a really great bag - just remember it is not made to hold 3 outfits, 6 bottles, 10 diapers, a tub of wipes, the first aid kit & your overstuffed wallet! (Oh, my old small bag was the 'Baby Sac Microfiber Mini Bag - Black/Blue' if that helps with reference to size.)

1. with the nylon tie, it makes it easy to hang from a hook.
2. these bags are easy to open and close.
3. these bags "cinch" up - perfect for daycare - take it off the hook, cinch it, throw it in the car.
4. durable!!! We rotate 3 bags during the week for daycare, so they get washed a lot. They go through 3 wash cycles every few days (and have for a year and a half) and are still in perfect shape.
Yeah, there might be cuter designs and I have a few, but we never use them because these Bummis bags are too perfect.

These are very multi-purpose! Presumably they are to be used as water resistant bags to carry soiled cloth diapers. However, we use them to carry all sorts of things; bathing suits, lunches, snacks, etc. - you name it. Water resistant and colorful, they close with a drawstring and toggle. Wash these bags in lukewarm water and either hang to dry or dry on air in the dryer. No fabric softeners, chlorine bleach or other whitening agents. The XX-Large Bag will fit into a 14 gallon Busch Systems diaper pail.
