The mesh section hangs over most changing station platforms, so you can easily access the diaper, wipes and extra outfit if needed. It is great when there is no changing station also. You can easily unfold this on a counter or the back of the car or truck and have a large area to use. We take a fully stocked diaper bag with us when we go out, but when we need to change a diaper while out we just take this out of the diaper bag and all the supplies are in one spot. The changing pad that came with our diaper bags are not useful.
